Welcome to Villagelife Eco Resort! By accessing and using our facilities, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Reservations and Payments

• 1.1 Reservations can be made via our website, email, or phone.
• 1.2 A deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due upon arrival.
• 1.3 All payments must be made in Indian Rupees (INR). We accept major credit cards and bank transfers.

2. Check-in and Check-out

• 2.1 Check-in time is from 2:00 PM. Early check-in may be available upon request, subject to availability.
• 2.2 Check-out time is by 11:00 AM. Late check-out may incur additional charges.

3. Accommodation

• 3.1 Guests are responsible for any damages or loss of property during their stay.
• 3.2 Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the rooms and cottages. Designated smoking areas are available.
• 3.3 Pets are not allowed unless specified in the booking confirmation.

4. Dining

• 4.1 Meals are served at designated times. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions or allergies in advance.
• 4.2 Outside food and beverages are not permitted within the dining area.
• 4.3 Alcohol consumption is allowed in designated areas only. Excessive drinking and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

5. Yoga and Meditation Facilities

• 5.1 Guests must follow the instructions of the yoga and meditation instructors at all times.
• 5.2 Use of the facilities is at your own risk. Villagelife Eco Resort is not responsible for any injuries sustained during yoga or meditation sessions.
• 5.3 Please maintain silence and respect the sanctity of the meditation gardens.

6. Village Activities and Cultural Immersion

• 6.1 Participation in village activities is voluntary and at your own risk.
• 6.2 Respect the local customs and traditions. Any form of disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.
• 6.3 Photography and videography of local residents should be done with their permission.

7. Sustainability Commitment

• 7.1 Guests are encouraged to participate in our eco-friendly practices, including waste recycling and energy conservation.
• 7.2 Any violation of our sustainability practices may result in additional charges or termination of your stay.

8. Liability and Indemnity

• 8.1 Villagelife Eco Resort is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury to guests or their property during their stay.
• 8.2 Guests agree to indemnify and hold Villagelife Eco Resort harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their stay.

9. Amendments and Cancellations

• 9.1 Cancellations must be made in writing via email. Cancellation policies and fees apply.
• 9.2 Villagelife Eco Resort reserves the right to amend or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

10. Governing Law

• 10.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the state of Assam, India. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Assam.

Early Departure & Changes

• Early departures: No refund for unused nights.
• Changes to Reservations: Modifications to reservation dates must be made at least 15 days prior. Subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
• Shortened stays are treated as cancellations.

Cancellation by Villagelife Eco Resort

• Unforeseen circumstances: Full refund.
• Force majeure events: Reasonable efforts to offer alternative dates or accommodations.

Refund Process

• Refunds processed within 14 business days from the cancellation date.
• Issued using the original payment method or alternative arrangements if necessary.
• Bank charges or fees deducted from the refund amount.
